Wellness pro Forum, Moscow 12.02.2009: „European Spa pattern for the Russian market”

The Wellness pro Forum, within the Kosmetik Expo, took place the 12th of February in Moscow, where several experts from the branch have participated. Key focus of the conference was the development of standards for the spa industry, creating a spa brand, Human Ressources as well as the future spa industry development in Russia.

Adrian Egger, working for a long time as senior consultant international project development at Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design was invited to talk about “European spa pattern for the Russian market”. The key output of his presentation was that by working on the Russian market it’s crucial to consider the most important KPI’s in planning and realisation to maximize the quality demand and push the significance of spa & wellness.



Medical Spa congress, Monte Carlo 20.03.2009: "The fascinating success story of medical hospitality and medical spa"

The medical spa congress, within the Anti-Ageing Medicine World Congress, took place the 20th of March in Monte Carlo, where the growing importance of health and medical prevention in the spa and tourism branch has been discussed.

Heinz Schletterer, CEO & owner of the Schletterer International Group gave with the presentation “The fascinating success story of medical hospitality and medical spa” an interesting overview about the perfect medical spa concept. The key output of his presentation was that capital investments into health generate long-term profitability and stability for the entire economy cycle – worldwide.



Asia Spa & Wellness Summit, Bangkok 21.03.2009: „Success bringing factors in the international spa & wellness industry”

Asia’s largest conference for spa and wellness experts, the Asia Spa & Wellness Summit, took place on the 21st of March in Bangkok. The huge number of participants confirmed Asia’s is the world’s fastest growing market for spa and wellness.

Manuel Geyer, working as director of international project development and CEO of the branch office China at Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design was invited to talk about “Success bringing factors in the international spa & wellness industry”. The key output of his presentation was that a new sense of quality for wellness & spa, new innovative health tourism concepts as well as new attractive and competitive solutions for the spa market will be demand more than ever.



Hotel Conference Warsaw, 26.03.2009: „Future key factors for the successful development of projects in the spa & wellness industry”

The Hotel Conference Warsaw took place on the 26th of March in Warsaw focusing on the topic “hospitality – today and tomorrow”. The most important aspects of the conference were which way the hospitality will go, if the financial crisis is going to affect the branch as well as different business models.

Manuel Geyer, working as director of international project development and CEO of the branch office China at Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design was invited to talk about “Future key factors for the successful development of projects in the spa & wellness industry”. The key message of his presentation was that due the recent economical situation it’s crucial to re-structure the strengths and implement creatively the chances on new markets, uniqueness, highest quality and specialisation in the tourism industry.
